Located in the northern suburbs of Perth, the Mindarie Marina is a popular destination for both locals and tourists. With its picturesque location on the coast and a huge range of amenities, it’s the perfect spot for a day trip or a weekend getaway. We stayed overnight in the Marina Hotel and were blown away by the gorgeous views from our balcony.

The Marina offers a variety of dining options, from casual cafes to upscale restaurants. One of the most popular spots is The Boat, which offers stunning views of the Marina and serves up delicious seafood dishes. Another great option is the Indian Ocean Brewing Company, which is known for its craft beers and relaxed atmosphere which is where we chose to dine. We shared two pizzas which were so delicious, I’m keen to go back for more! The staff were also very friendly and attentive which is a huge plus.

For those looking to explore the area, there are plenty of activities to choose from. The Marina offers boat charters and fishing tours, as well as paddleboarding and kayaking rentals. In the morning we took a stroll along the boardwalk, which offers stunning views of the boat pens and real estate nearby.

If you do happen to stay a little longer than one night, the Marina is very close to some of Perth’s most beautiful beaches. Just a short drive away is Burns Beach, which offers white sand and crystal-clear water. You can also visit nearby Hillarys Boat Harbour, which is home to a range of shops, restaurants, and attractions.

While there are plenty of breakfast options in the Marina we had to be on our way, so we stopped at the 115 Collective in Merriwa for some eggs benedict, a delicious way to end the trip.
