About Me

Welcome

Hello! My name is Melissa and I am from Perth, Western Australia – one of the most isolated cities in the world.

I am not a full time traveller, just someone who enjoys exploring new locations (near & far) when I can take leave from my office job.

I love reading other people’s travel tips and ideas so I decided to start a blog to share some of my own. I aim to make this blog as informative and as useful as I can and will share practical details like directions and prices whenever possible in my posts.

If there is something you would like to read about let me know! I would love to connect with anyone who likes to chat travel or is interested in a local’s opinion of what to do in Perth/Australia. Follow me on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook or Pinterest to get in touch.

Some places I have visited and plan to write about:
Australia – New South Wales (Sydney & Blue Mountains), Victoria (Melbourne & Geelong), and of course lots of my hometown Perth and Western Australia!

Europe – England (London & Brighton), Belgium (Bruges), Netherlands (Amsterdam), Germany (Berlin), Switzerland (Zurich), Paris (France)

US States – Hawaii, California, Nevada, Arizona (and the Grand Canyon), Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York State, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. I have also driven through Mississippi, Alabama, West Virginia and Virginia.

Canada – Just Toronto & Niagara Falls so far.

Some places I want to visit and hope to write about
Scotland, Ireland & Northern Ireland, Brussels, Stonehenge, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Italy, Monaco, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, more of Canada and the US (especially the Pacific North-West and Alaska), Singapore (more than just the airport!), Some of South-east Asia, Japan and Korea, New Zealand, Fiji, much more of Australia including Queensland and the Northern Territory, and many more places all over the world!
