After settling into our little apartment the day before, we were ready to go exploring the wonderful city of Denver. We made a breakfast of bagels in our kitchenette to fuel ourselves up and then we strolled around the streets of Denver looking in shops and alleyways. There was quite a bit of street art and colourful murals on the sides of buildings, and we even found a cute art installation of cat statues.
For lunch we went to Biker Jim’s Hot Dogs which has been featured in so many travel shows, and then walked to the Great Divide Brewery where we could sit and look into the brewery as they worked. Later in the afternoon we went to Denver Brewing Co where we tried a raspberry beer called Princess Yum Yum, and for dinner we went to the Pig & Sprout where I had the most moreish gnocchi. Denver definitely has no shortage of great breweries and pubs for you to relax in, as well as tasty tasty food options.

We haven’t been to Colorado yet but we’ll get there ! We do love our breweries as well. All those cat sculptures are really cute.
